“ Architectural Design 3 "

Project 1.

Poetic Journey Structure - Spatial Translation

The project's primary aim is poetic architecture that creates expressive experiential spatial journeys that engage consumers through their senses and tell a story. Poetic architecture delivers beauty and poignant moments that make people feel more fulfilled. Precedent reading, a site visit and site research of a specific building, as well as an inventory and categorization of poetic spaces, will all be used to support the job.

Project 2a

The Discovery Center (Genius Loci) - Site Analysis, Site response and Design Concept

As a starting point, project 2a necessitates an investigation of the site setting. It is a crucial requirement for every design project since it will provide a set of criteria for an architectural solution that will be suited to the location and its significance and add to its context. Both quantitative and measured methods, as well as intuitive and individual methods, must be used to comprehend the website. There are many different methods for documenting and comprehending the location, ranging from physical surveys to qualitative elements of experience and individual interpretation of the locale.

Project 3

The Discovery Center (Visitor Center for Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest)

In the last assignment of the course, students are expected to create a structure that would enable users to discover, learn and explore about the people, place, events, activities, culture, history, etc. related to Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest. It will serve as a visitor centre with interpretive exhibits, a museum-like walk-through historical or cultural journey, an interactive and interesting educational programming programme, and areas or spaces to interact with the locals and the surrounding natural environments.
