Project 1 _ Case Study (Assessing Daylight & Thermal Comfort)
I had never worked with the Juniors before. It was challenging to break through some barriers at first, but with greater initiative and openness, we were soon all at ease working together. Throughout the project, we had lots of trials and errors but luckily we had the tutor to bring us back on track and on how to properly apply our critical thinking skills to solving problems and I came to the realization that the environment ought to come first in all architectural procedures. This curriculum enhanced my knowledge of sustainable architecture's viability and practicality and how to better evaluate them.
Project 2 _ Artificial Lighting Design
Luckily, we were told to work with the same group of people that I’ve already blended in with, therefore the whole procedure was smooth and had no more barriers among the members. This assignment introduced us to more issues solving mathematically such as calculations of lumen methods, and it enabled me to learn more about team communications as we had many choices and we were to pick the most efficient ones which obligated us to use our individual knowledge from our own stronger fields to work collaboratively as a team.
